What people ask before they start
Do I have to type my results in by hand?
No. Upload the PDF or a photo of the result and the values are read out and filed for you. Manual entry is there for things no lab prints, like weight, circumferences or blood pressure at home.
Which laboratories does it work with?
Any of them. The reading is not tied to a fixed template, so results from different labs land in one timeline even when each of them formats the report differently.
Where is my data stored?
Encrypted, on servers in Germany. Original files stay in that storage and are never handed to anyone else. You can export or delete everything at any time.
Does JOuHealth diagnose or treat anything?
No. It reads your data, puts each value in context and shows the trend. Interpreting it for your health is a job for you and your doctor.
Can I keep records for my family?
Yes. Alongside your own profile you can hold profiles of people you care for. Each profile is separate, with its own consent and its own access.
What happens when I change doctors?
The practice usually will not hand your record over. They send the new doctor a summary and that is the end of it, the rest of the history stays behind. Whatever you upload to JOuHealth stays with you, whoever you see next.
